Sketch & Stand Up Comedy

Returning and new students are welcome as we explore idea generation, character development, and understanding what makes a good sketch work. Exercises in Improv, Movement, Accents and more provide the skills our comedians require to create and perform an original virtual sketch comedy show. Time is spent on both solo and ensemble work, and emphasis is placed on creative risk taking, and following each idea to its craziest result!

Final Showcase: The PGT Sketch Comedy Troupe will showcase live on the PGT stage!

Fall 2023 session begins October 4 and ends January 17.

Spring 2024 session begins the week of February 26 and ends the week of June 3.

PGT Hybrid Programs

These programs will have both an online and an in-person component. Please read each program description for more information. Hybrid programs are open to all students, even if you are unable to attend in person. Students will be able to participate fully remotely in these programs, so if you are not ready to be in the building, or if you are feeling under the weather on an in-person day, you can still participate in the in-person component via remote access.
