The incredible team of PGT Teaching Artists has adapted Design/Tech for virtual learning, allowing our D/T students to use video, audio, filters, music and effects to create dynamic theatrical experiences for today’s digital world. This summer, add post production, art direction, storyboarding, mixing and more to your Design/Tech repertoire! And you never know when a visiting Guest Artist will zoom bomb a class - so be ready for anything! Our PGquaranTine summer promises to be filled with creative challenges, fun surprises, and new discoveries!

Design/Tech

Discover the digital world of storytelling and high impact design in PGT’s D/T Online program! This summer, Design/Tech will draw on both theatre and film making techniques as students create new audio/video works under the guidance of professional designers and directors. Working both collaboratively and independently, D/T students will develop the skills that drive today’s interdisciplinary entertainment world, and gain facility with the professional resources that are available to bring their creative visions to life.

D/T students will have the opportunity to collaborate with PGT’s On Camera and Improv programs, editing both live and filmed performances for final virtual showcases.

Final Showcase: D/T students share select finished works via livestream event and on PGT Social Media!
