From the Page to the Stage

If you love the small cast MainStage experience at PGT, this program is for you. If you are ready for a great theatre adventure - one that is filled with the energy of creative risk taking, this program is for you!

Students in this program contribute to the concept, plot development, and script of an original virtual performance piece, and perform in the final production.

Teen Co

At PGT, we always embrace the power of experimentation and discovery. That power is magnified a thousand times when we are creating new work together.

Members of The Teen Co will be cast into small companies that will create original plays for the virtual space. With a focus on the collaborative process, each cast will move through the devising, writing, and rehearsal process, ultimately performing their original work - live or recorded, TBD by the members of the company themselves.

Based on the success of our Summer 2020 Teen Co program, we are thrilled to provide our older students with this opportunity to work together, shaping their own ideas into a finished script and performance, and thinking about the purpose of theatre during this unique and difficult time. And we are eager for our audiences to hear their voices!

Students registering for both sessions receive a discount. Or combine either session with any of our diverse programs for an adventure-filled season at PGT!

HYBRID: Each cast will split their time between online rehearsals, and in-person at PGT. Performances will be virtual.  About PGT Hybrid Programs >>

PGT Hybrid Programs

These programs will have both an online and an in-person component. Please read each program description for more information. Hybrid programs are open to all students, even if you are unable to attend in person. Students will be able to participate fully remotely in these programs, so if you are not ready to be in the building, or if you are feeling under the weather on an in-person day, you can still participate in the in-person component via remote access.
