One Day Cabaret
for ages 18 and up
 
Whether you’re a vocal ensemble veteran or have never sung in a group before, you are welcome to join in, and all experience levels are valued. Working with a Music Director and Director, participants learn Broadway songs and medleys. Repertoire will be selected from shows currently on Broadway, classic musicals, and PGT favorites!
 
The One-Day Cabaret gives the adult members of the PGT community the opportunity to learn on their feet, with a focus on song interpretation, character development, and simple staging. One Day Cabaret is a welcoming, once-per-season singing event focusing on community, joy, and collective expression over achieving perfection.

Professional Development with PGT
When the arts are part of the fabric of a school, through the regular classroom curriculum as well as extension activities from in-school residencies, learning is enhanced in all subjects and the school's social environment is strengthened. The Play Group Theatre offers Arts in Education residencies, as well as professional development courses, guiding classroom teachers and administrators through a holistic approach to arts integration in all subject areas.
 
Through presentation, discussion and hands-on activity, PGT’s Professional Development provides teachers with the information and learning strategies necessary to foster development in the following skill areas:
