Camp PGT programs for Teens at PGT
Camp PGT - TeenCo
Students in the Young Actors' Ensemble participate in a variety of classes each week, including Acting, Dance, Song Study, Stage Combat, Yoga, Improv, Accents and Dialects, Monologues, and more. Each class is an opportunity to explore new ideas and to work with different members of the Camp PGT staff.
All actors in the 2 week YAE will be cast in an ensemble based musical. Shows are created with each specific cast in mind: songs, monologues, scenes, staging, and choreography that provide an opportunity for every member of the ensemble to shine. Students in this program will do some basic writing exercises, contributing their ideas to the overall concept of the show. Material for the show is created and/or chosen based on the number of students and their ages, with an eye toward what will both challenge and inspire the artistic abilities of each cast.
New material is covered in each session and we look forward to having many of the same students from session 1 return for session 2. Students registering for both sessions receive a discount! Or combine either session with one of our new 1 or 2 week programs!
