About our Honoree

Lee Perlman

We are thrilled to honor Lee Perlman at this year's Benefit. Lee served on PGT's Board of Trustees for many years including as Board Chair in PGT's formative years. He continues to serve on PGT's Advisory Board and recently established the PGT Generations Program.

PGT's new Generations Program expands sustained access to arts programming, thereby ensuring the benefits of long-lasting peer collaboration, progressive creative problem-solving, an immersion in empathy development, and the maturation of both convergent and divergent thinking for those children for whom it would otherwise not be possible. In partnership with The White Plains School District, The PGT Generations Program selects a cohort of students from each of White Plains' five elementary schools to participate in year-round theatre programming at PGT, including 2 MainStage productions and PGT's six week summer camp, throughout their elementary, middle and high school years. A new cohort will be selected every five years.

Meet The PGT Generations Program

Kids who grow up in The Play Group Theatre's programs find lifelong connections to mentors and peers; they find creative inspiration and a drive for success; they welcome new discoveries and develop formative thinking... Welcome this year's PGT Generations cohort with your gift and by joining us for The PGT Annual Benefit!

Thank you, for bringing the magic of PGT to a deserving child in our community!
